Growing urbanisation ,employment opportunities
abroad, increased industrial activities have changed the
pattern of life. The family bonding and ties have been
lost or rather no more in existence and the urban loneliness
among the elderly is very prevalent.
Mr Bobba who for last 20 years has been
contributing to social activities of this nature thought
of setting up a trust to bring all these activist under
one roof , under his able guidance. In the year 1999 BOBBA
CHARITABLE TRUST was formed and then onwards started our
actiivites:
Philanthropy activities range from building of Old
Age Home at Rajmundry in Andhra Pradesh,. Education
Assistance to the economically weak and physically
handicapped. Supporting Veda Schools located in
South India.
To be of service irrespective of religion,
age or caste. The proposed activities
of the trust involve promoting education
by providing opportunities for learning,
extending financial assistance through
scholarships and grants and funding
research in various fields.
The Trust assists in
the setting up of institutions to
help the old and infirm, orphans and
the under privileged. Providing better
health and medical facilities is another
function of the trust. The Trust also
carries out research in social sciences
and participates in numerous programmes
with the purpose of giving someone
a better life.
